    About 1-15 Iceboat TerraceParade Condos

Located at 10 Capreol Court and 15 Iceboat Terrace — Parade is an impressive 2 tower development connected by a skybridge. Completed in 2011, the two buildings rise from matching podiums, and feature modern glass and steel exteriors which are well suited to the CityPlace neighbourhood.

In addition to an aesthetically pleasing exterior, these condos provide residents with a wealth of relaxing amenities — pool, gym, party room, Wifi Lounge, games room, theatre room, children’s playroom, conference room, pet spa, daycare, security guard, concierge, and parking garage.

Parade casts a wide net in terms of buyers — there are over 800 units between these two towers and podiums, and prices fluctuates quite a bit; whether you’re a first time home buyer, an established professional, or a small family — these downtown Toronto condos for sale are worth consideration.

    The Suites

With a variety of layouts in either high-rise or mid rise condos, from cozy studios to expansive 3 bedroom townhomes, there’s a lot of choice here for buyers; suite sizes range 398 square feet to 2498. What you’ll find within these units varies between buildings, but all units follow open concept layouts and maximize square footage.

Buyers who are looking at units in Parade I, will find panoramic floor to ceiling windows, stone countertops and backsplashes, stainless steel appliances, private balconies, and full size stackable laundry. Units in Parade ll - CityPlace are fairly similar to those of phase I, with the exception being quartz countertops and glass backsplashes in the kitchens.

For buyers who have more financial freedom and want larger floor plans, there are several townhomes contained within these 2 properties, many of which feature multi-floor layouts. As well, those who aren't ready for home ownership can find Toronto condos for rent here.

    The Neighbourhood

As a neighbourhood that was planned from the ground up, CityPlace is among the most unique areas in Toronto; this high density neighbourhood provides a balance of urban convenience and access to nature. With a condo at this location, you’re just minutes from dining, nightlife, and Toronto’s biggest and best attractions in the Entertainment District.

Toronto is known for its rabid sports fans, and as a resident of 10 Capreol Crt and 15 Iceboat Terr, both the Rogers Centre and Scotiabank Arena are within walking distance. Imagine throwing on your Tavares or Mathews’ Jersey and strolling to Scotiabank Arena — no $20 parking or packed streetcars for you. And on the way to the game, you have sports bars like Fox and Fiddle Cityplace and St. Louis Bar & Grill to get your spirits up.

If sports aren’t your thing then you’ll find no shortage of entertainment options — you can play tourist and check out the CN Tower and Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada, expand your craft beer knowledge at C’est What? and Bar Hop, or dance the night away and Orchid Nightclub. Of course, these are but a few of the options available in the Entertainment District, and part of the fun will be discovering them for yourself.

For dining, there are restaurants close to home such as Macho Tex Mex Radio Bar, Roses New York, Roywoods, and Tim Hortons. If you venture north, you’ll find that King street is lined by great restaurants like Jacobs & Co. Steakhouse, The Citizen, Locals Only — you don’t actually have to be a local — and countless others. As well, both The Waterfront and Entertainment District are packed with restaurants.

    Transportation

Parade provides its residents with a very walkable location — 93 Walk Score — perfect for those who prefer to get things done the greener way. There’s a Sobeys Urban Fresh Spadina and Quick Shop Convenience just minutes away, so even grocery runs can be achieved on foot.

Need a dose of nature? A short walk south will have you on the Martin Goodman Trail, which runs for kilometres to the east and west, connecting to lakeside parks along the way.

Public transit riders have buses on Fort York Blvd and streetcars on Spadina, allowing for quick travel to Union Station for subway lines and GO Transit. With such a great location, there’s no reason to drive, but if you do prefer to commute via your own vehicle, you can head south on Spadina for the Gardiner Expressway.
