About 51 Lower Simcoe StreetInfinity II Condos

Completed in 2008 as the second phase of the Conservatory Group’s development of four buildings in Toronto’s Core — which includes Infinity I Condos, Infinity III Condos, and Infinity IV Condos — the Infinity 2 Condos brings classic residential design to a dynamic location at 51 Lower Simcoe Street.

E.I. Richmond Architects designed this 16-storey condo. At street level, the Infinity 2 Condos’ concrete podium holds commercial space that gives residents of 51 Lower Simcoe great convenience. Above, the condo’s attractive array of balconies accent the many shining windows. Inside, the lobby, served by a 24-hour concierge, welcomes residents with luxurious marble. Altogether, the architecture’s purposeful sophistication promises the enduring elegance of these condos.

Perhaps most attractive to prospective residents are all the amenities found in the Infinity 2 Condos. Living here gives access to the Infinity Club. This means residents can enjoy a modern exercise room, an indoor swimming and whirl pool, billiards room, party room, cinema, conference centre and even guest’s suites — all these amenities means even a night can be exciting.

    The Suites

This building contains 244 Toronto condos that range in size from approximately 525 to 920 square feet. One-bedroom to two-bedroom plus dens suites suit young professionals and couples seeking Toronto condos for sale in an exciting life in the City Centre.

These suites are designed with residents in mind. Stainless steel appliances, shipshape granite countertops and generous storage ease even the busiest lifestyle.

Open floor plans and expansive windows make all of 51 Lower Simcoe Street's suites feel quite comfortable. Furthermore, living space extends onto spacious balconies that also offer unparalleled views of the surrounding cityscape.

    The Neighbourhood

Living at 51 Lower Simcoe Street means residents do not need to go far to enjoy many of the city’s major attractions. This means that the best sports teams, the Raptors, Leafs and Blue Jays play nearby in the Scotiabank Arena and Rogers Centres; that world-famous theatre companies perform in the Entertainment District at places like the Royal Alexandra and Princess of Wales theatres, both less than a ten-minute walk; and, that the most rigorously trained musicians will dream of playing in the equally as far Roy Thomson Hall. Even awesome exotic aquatic life has come to the neighbourhood, showcased in the Ripley’s Aquarium on Bremner Boulevard.

Alternatively, the City Centre contains some fantastic local flair. Just across Lower Simcoe, Roundhouse Park, housing the Toronto Railway Museum and the Steamwhistle Brewery, offers green space and a great place to taste some beer.

To the south is the Harbourfront Centre, a highlight of the Lakeshore’s many attractions. A Non-Profit, the Harbourfront Centre provides eclectic and engaging arts, culture, educational, and recreational programming that reflects the city’s diverse demographic.

Restaurant options nearby are endless, even on modest budgets. Residents can choose the many familiar franchises surrounding 51 Lower Simcoe, or they can explore the many different options throughout the area, like the indulgent restaurant, Pearl Harbourfront Chinese Cuisine. They have been serving the city authentic and delicious dim-sum for decades.

Shopping for necessities is a breeze. Less than six minutes away from the building, residents can find an impressive selection of groceries at Sobeys Urban Fresh. Even closer to home, a Longo’s carries all many essentials. It’s steps away in Maple Leaf Square just across the street.

Commercial space at the building’s base also contains some more convenient shopping options, but residents will enjoy access to the PATH even more. Known as Toronto’s Underground mall, the PATH links 30 kilometers of shops and entertainment so shoppers seeking more than necessities will be more than satisfied.

    Transportation

Getting around the city from 51 Lower Simcoe comes with very few difficulties. The walkability of the area features the aforementioned PATH. This underground mall links a network of enjoyable, enclosed walkways from Front street all the way to Dundas Street, with plans to extend even further.

The TTC and so much more is less than five minutes away at Union station. There, residents can choose between the TTC’s subways and streetcars. GO Transit also operates trains and buses serving the city’s surrounding towns and suburbs. Finally, the Union-Pearson Express links Toronto’s Core to an international airport in 25 minutes.

Drivers may find the streets in their area to be busy at times, but two Gardiner Expressway access points, around the corner York Street and at nearby Spadina Avenue, make for easy ways escape the fray.
