    About 825 Church StreetThe Milan

Here we go again: yet another Toronto building named for a glamorous European metropolis. Although they fall under this category that has the opportunity to seem like nothing more than a cliché, the downtown Toronto condos at 825 Church Street are a rare breed that actually deserve a name like the Milan Condos.

The building lives up to its name the second one steps into the lobby, only to admire the double-height ceilings and the chandelier dangling elegantly above plush seating. However, these homes are still more accessible than they are exclusive: the building is home to just over 300 Toronto condos that are spread out over 37 floors.

Built by the Conservatory Group in 2016, a glass tower rises above an 8-storey podium at 825 Church Street in the vibrant Yonge and Bloor neighbourhood. Between them, a 9th floor terrace provides plenty of space for residents (and their lucky guests) to relax. This outdoor space is outfitted with cabanas and a fire pit for the ultimate in relaxation.

Yet the terrace isn’t the only amenity available to residents living at the Milan Condos. Homeowners here also have access to the building’s impressive gym and business centre, as well as an indoor pool, Jacuzzi, and saunas. A library, games room, party room with kitchen and even a massage room are just some of the other perks of living in the building.

    The Suites

Not only do the Yonge and Bloor condos for sale at 825 Church Street remind prospective buyers of the grace and sophistication of Milan, but they also reflect the stylishness of Toronto’s very own Yorkville and Rosedale neighbourhoods. For example, granite, hardwood, and porcelain are just some of the luxurious finishes that can be found in these homes.

Homes start at around 600 and reach to 1,700 square feet, with 9-foot ceilings found throughout the building. Naturally, floor plans at the Milan Condos are named after various Italian cities, as well as a couple of celebrities.

Single buyers or couples might be enamoured with the Torino or the Venice, which boast one bedroom plus a den and two bedrooms, respectively. Alternatively, families will want to take a look at the Pavarotti, a 3-bedroom home with almost 1,200 square feet of living space.

Balconies also grace the homes at 825 Church Street, with certain units featuring wraparound outdoor spaces — perfect for observing the city below from multiple angles.

And the only problem with eating out when living at the Milan Condos is making a decision on any given night. Between the upscale eateries of Yorkville and the eclectic, yet affordable fare found on Yonge, residents have their pick.

    The Neighbourhood

The only problem with eating out when living at the Milan Condos is making a decision on any given night between the upscale eateries of Yorkville and the eclectic, yet affordable fare found on Yonge.

Those who prefer to cook can test out the different grocery stores in the area before deciding on their favourite. Residents in search of upscale products can head to Pusateri’s Fine Foods, while organic goods can be found at the sizeable Whole Foods on Avenue Road.

Entertainment that has nothing to do with food is also within close reach. Residents live within walking distance from Cineplex Cinemas Varsity and VIP, the CAA Theatre, the Isabel Bader Theatre, the Royal Ontario Museum, and the Gardiner Museum. Certain residents, on the other hand, will find it entertaining enough to simply stroll through the streets of Yorkville and admire the latest window displays.

    Transportation

Bloor-Yonge Station can be reached in approximately 3 minutes from the Milan Condos. With the subway so close at hand, residents need not worry about traffic or parking in order to visit other areas of the city. From here, travellers can access trains heading north and south on the Yonge line or east and west on the Bloor-Danforth line.

Those who prefer to traverse the city streets in the comfort of their own private vehicles are also well-situated with an address like 825 Church Street. Bloor Street is an ideal arterial road for east-west travel, while a quick trip to the east offers drivers a chance to transfer onto the Don Valley Parkway. From here, the 401 is a short trip north, with the Gardiner Expressway just to the south.
