About 1270 Maple Crossing Boulevard — The Palace Condo
Incredible shopping, fantastic dining, beautiful natural scenery, commuter access — in short, 1270 Maple Crossing Blvd is a building for buyers who want it all.
The Palace Condo stands 20 storeys tall on a small cul-de-sac, with a traditional brick frame and featuring large window bays. Occupancy began back in 1990, and the building has been remarkably well-maintained in the years since. The tower is surrounded by manicured grounds and established in a desirable stretch of Downtown Burlington.
Condo residents have amazing neighbourhood amenities, but what’s offered on-site is also worth noting: Tennis and squash courts, an outdoor pool, saunas, a ground level sun deck with communal barbeques, a chic party room with a full-sized kitchen, guest suites, and a 24 hour concierge service.
The Suites
1270 Maple Crossing Blvd is home to 234 suites, available in an assortment of different layouts and exposures. Units start at 649 square feet for a 1 bedroom suite and can reach up to 1699 square feet for a 2 bedroom condo. Floor plans are available from 1 to 3 bedrooms and there are plus den units as well.
While many would argue that age is just a number, age does imply variance here. Prospective buyers can expect to encounter hardwood flooring in most suites, but the odd unit could have carpet. Likewise, kitchens have great bones with wide cabinets and full sized appliances, but finishes depend on past occupants.
The bedrooms are incredibly generous in these Burlington condos and provide far more living space compared to what’s typically offered in Toronto condos for sale. Unfortunately, these homes don’t have private balconies, but they do include large sunrooms.
The Neighbourhood
Downtown Burlington is a scenic locale with eclectic eateries, quaint boutiques, cafes, and breathtaking scenery along the waterfront. This affluent pocket is home to some of the largest houses in the province on Lake Shore Blvd, and yet, condos in the area are quite reasonable, especially for a waterfront neighbourhood.
Residents of The Palace Condo are only minutes from Mapleview Shopping Centre — the largest mall in the region — for fashion boutiques, high-end brands, tech stores, and restaurants. There are several big box retailers close-by as well, such as IKEA and Costco Wholesale. Boutiques are sprinkled throughout the area on Brant St and there’s a collection of locally owned restaurants on Lakeshore Blvd.
For recreation, there’s Spencer Smith Park less than a 15 minute walk from the condos for walking paths or bike trails. There are playgrounds, picnic benches, monuments, and the Lakeside Festival of Lights, which is beautiful at night. Families have nearby schools and daycares, and plenty of family friendly entertainment.
