The building features a traditional rectangular frame, with brickwork and concrete balconies. It’s a look that buyers aren’t searching for — but it conceals incredible value within.

    100 Prudential Drive is located in the Dorset Park neighbourhood, only a minute from shopping, dining, and the 401. The building offers an array of desirable extras; an indoor pool, a fitness centre, saunas, a rec-room, underground parking, and visitor parking.

    This 16 storey tower was completed in 1978, and the spacious suite sizes and large grounds — which has enough room for dog owners — reflects a time when space wasn’t in short supply. One potential drawback is that condo fees are higher than average for these Scarborough condos, something that could irk some buyers given the expansive layouts.

    Shopping options are diverse and can be found scattered through the area; there’s a substantial business area north of Lawrence, where residents can shop at speciality stores and boutiques. And for large shopping trips, Scarborough Town Centre is located on Borough Drive.

    Nature is never far because residents are only steps from the peaceful grasses and the quaint duck pond at Arsandco Park; Scarborough Hydro Green Space runs south of the neighbourhood for long afternoon walks. There are schools and playgrounds in the area, and a community centre at McGregor Park.

    Transportation

    Residents of 100 Prudential Drive Condos can occasionally run errands on foot, but grocery runs, and essential shopping will require a vehicle or public transit.

    Those who commute via the TTC have an excellent starting point; Lawrence East Station is just a 5 minute walk from the lobby doors. As well, there’s bus service on Lawrence Ave E.

    Car owners can practice their belly breathing as they navigate their way to the Don Valley Parkway by going west on Lawrence Ave E.
