About 120 Dundalk Drive120 Dundalk Drive Condos

For buyers seeking affordability and space, the Dorset Park neighbourhood is a welcoming community, bounded by a highway and packed full of green spaces and convenience. The condo scene has lifted off in terms of desirability, and 120 Dundalk Dr is among the recipients of this recent boom in popularity.

120 Dundalk Drive Condos stands 17 storeys tall — clad in brick and concrete — featuring a traditional apartment-like frame and large, manicured grounds. The building’s 1976 completion date and high demand is a testament to its quality, as age has done little to deter interested buyers.

Residents of these Scarborough condos have great amenities at home; a full-sized indoor pool, a fitness room, billiards, saunas, and more. Condo fees are high for the neighbourhood, as can sometimes be the case in older buildings, but fees are all inclusive.

    The Suites

120 Dundalk Dr was constructed before condo floor plans began to shrink and as such, these homes provide more square footage than your average Toronto condo. The building contains just 173 suites that range in size from 900 square foot 2 bedroom condos up to 1400 square feet for a 3 bedroom unit; there are plus den floor plans too for prospective buyers who need a home office.

While the building’s age implies that units could have older finishes, most suites are quite modern, laid out with hardwood flooring in principal rooms and large modern kitchens. High end finishes like stone countertops and stainless appliances are the norm here, but kitchens could still be closed off to the living space and have older appliances instead, depending on past occupants.

The spacious theme continues in the bedrooms, many of which are large enough for 2 beds and all bedside furniture. Four piece bathrooms have great bones for a reno, though, most are modern as well. All units have large private balconies and abundant storage.

    The Neighbourhood

Dorset Park is a family neighbourhood catering to commuters and first-time home buyers alike. Though nature and recreation is at the forefront of what’s offered here, this area does have plenty of urban convenience.

Residents of 120 Dundalk Dr are only minutes from Tim Hortons and CoCo Fresh Tea & Juice for breakfast and coffee. There are fast food chains close by and unique restaurants such as Bawarchi Biryanis – Toronto and Cafe Mirage Grill & Lounge. For a relaxing drink, Shot House Bar & Grill is just south on Kennedy Rd.

Retail is sprinkled throughout the area, and Scarborough Town Centre is just east of the neighbourhood for large shopping excursions. Glamorgan Park is just around the corner from the condos for walking the dog or taking the kids to play, and there are several schools and athletic facilities in the surrounding area.

    Transportation

Life at 120 Dundalk Drive Condos allows for errands to be completed on foot, but the odd trip will require a vehicle or TTC service; speaking of public transit, there are multiple bus routes in the neighbourhood and Midland Station is within walking distance for subway service into the downtown core.

Car owners can grab a coffee on Kennedy Rd and hit up the nearest on-ramp before they’ve taken their first sip — the drive to downtown takes about 20 minutes on a good day.
