About 164 Cumberland StreetRenaissance Court Residences

Renaissance Court Residences is a well established condo building located in one of the most opulent neighbourhoods in the city. It’s stepped backed red brick facade allows it to perfectly blend in with both the classic Victorian houses, in addition to the more modern buildings that have since been constructed in recent years.

These condos are located at 164 Cumberland St in the Yorkville neighbourhood. Yorkville is widely regarded as one of the most affluent neighbourhoods in Toronto, and it’s largely due to its central location.

As an established building in Yorkville, Renaissance Court Residences is equipped with some lavish amenities. There’s concierge service that can help you take care of errands so you can spend more time on the important things. Once you’re done those, you can hang out on the rooftop terrace.

    The Suites

164 Cumberland St stands at four storeys, and houses 32 downtown Toronto condos. It features large and spacious condo suites that range from 1,155 to 1,768 square feet. The different floor plans include one-bedroom units and go up to three-bedroom penthouses.

Many of suites have been updated with tastefully modern and traditional renovations over the years. The richly coloured hardwood floors coupled together with the fine cabinetry will constantly remind residents that they’re living in a luxury boutique condo. Add the floor to ceiling windows that bathe the condos in natural light, and you can see why these suites are some of the most sought after in the city.

These spacious Toronto condos for sale are a good fit for the finance professional who’s looking to live in a high-end neighbourhood that’s close to the Financial District.

    The Neighbourhood

Renaissance Court Residents stand on the corner of the Cumberland and Avenue intersection, which is only one block away from Bloor and Avenue in the upscale Yorkville neighbourhood.

One of the best examples of this affluence is Mink Mile, which is a stretch along Bloor where all of the high-end stores are centred. You can find stores for brands like Gucci, Tiffany’s, Louis Vuitton, Coach and Dolce & Gabbana.

164 Cumberland St is only seconds away from the Royal Ontario Museum, which is commonly referred to the ROM. It’s a classically designed building that got a modern extension from world renowned architect David Libeskind. The museum has one of the best collections in North America, and it also attracts globetrotting exhibitions.

If you’re a foodie, this is one of the best places in the city to go for a bite to eat. There are a lot of high-end restaurants that span fare from Italy to Japan. You’ll also want to check out Hemmingway’s, which is a bar that’s famous for it’s patio and simple menu.

    Transportation

Renaissance Court Residences are an amazing location for the public transit taker. The building is only a few steps away from Bay Station. This station is on Line 2 Bloor-Danforth, which stretches from Etobicoke to Scarborough.

Bay Station’s also in between two of the city’s transfer stations with St. George Station and Bloor-Yonge Station. They both allow you to transfer to Line 1 Yonge-University. Southbound, it loops around the Financial District. They can also go northbound, by either reaching up to Vaughan or North York.

164 Cumberland St is central to all of the city’s major highways. You can easily hit the Gardiner Expressway if you head south on Bay. This is an east-west highway that cuts across the city’s lakefront. It provides lightning quick access across the downtown core.

The Ontario Highway 401 is also nearby. This is one of the most critical highways in all of North America. Hundreds of thousands of drivers take the 401 everyday, and it’s just a few short minutes away from here.
