About 211 Queens Quay WQueens Quay Terminal

You could live in a piece of Toronto history at Queens Quay Terminal, a beautiful boutique condo building located in the heart of Toronto’s Waterfront neighbourhood. This building located at 211 Queens Quay West was originally constructed in 1926 as the Toronto Harbourfront Terminal Warehouse, but in 1985, it was transformed into a peerless mixed-use development that’s equipped with tons of shops and restaurants, as well as 72 luxury condos.

It’s also central to some of the most recognizable landmarks in the city, including the CN Tower, which has become Toronto’s internationally recognized symbol.

    The Suites

These condos definitely aren’t starter homes. Queens Quay Terminal is one of the most luxurious buildings in the city with floor plans that range from two-bedroom to three-bedroom plus den suites. This is also evident with the size of the suites, which fluctuate from 1,341 to 1,968 square feet. Add the wide open layouts combined with the large picture windows that look out to Lake Ontario, and you begin to see why these Waterfront condos for sale deserve a high price tag whenever they hit the market.

211 Queens Quay W is almost like its own village unto itself. There are over 100 shops, services, restaurants, and offices located within its confines. Joe Bird is a restaurant located in the building, and it has become a neighbourhood staple. This is where you’ll want to go and unwind as you cast your gaze out toward the lake. There are also cultural institutions here, further adding to the tight knit community vibe. The Fleck Dance Theatre is here, so you will always have the chance to go and support local art.

In addition to these great institutions, residents will also enjoy access to the building’s pool and sauna — a perfect way to end a rough day at work.

    The Neighbourhood

Queens Quay Terminal is located in the Waterfront neighbourhood, whose name speaks for itself. This is where you come if you want to take a peaceful stroll beside Lake Ontario. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants to stop at when you just want to sit down and take it all in.

The Entertainment District is also right next to 211 Queens Quay W. This neighbourhood stays true to its name as all of the city's most well known destinations are located here. The Rogers Centre sits right in your backyard, making these condos an amazing choice for Blue Jays fans. The Ripley's Aquarium is here too — in addition to being a fun day trip, you're going to want to check out their jazz nights where you can sip your adult beverage while sharks swim overhead.

It wouldn't be much of an Entertainment District if it didn't have next level food and drinks. The area is filled with different eateries that have different price points and cuisines, so you'll always be able to find something that satisfies your appetite.

You're also in the vicinity of the Bell Lightbox Theatre. This is the headquarters of the Toronto International Film Festival, which is widely known to be one of the most important film festivals in the world. It is part of the Big Three, on par with Cannes and Sundance Film Festival.

    Transportation

Queens Quay Terminal is close to incredibly convenient transportation options whether you're driving or using public transit.

For public transit, Union Station is less than a 10 minute walk away. This station is the cornerstone of the Toronto Subway System, being the southernmost point that allows you to travel either toward North York Centre or Vaughan. It's also the main station for the GO Trains that chug throughout Southern Ontario. Whether you work in Mississauga or want to take a day trip to Pickering, Union Station can be your starting point.

211 Queens Quay West is also only seconds away from the Gardiner Expressway. This is downtown Toronto's most important highway, as it allows drivers to cut a path across Toronto's lakefront. It also connects to other arterial highways like the Don Valley Parkway and Queen Elizabeth Way.

If you're looking to make more local trips, then you can use the 509 streetcar. This surface level transit line travels along Queens Quay W, and eventually ends its route at the Exhibition Loop. In addition to the Exhibition Grounds, this allows you to visit other premier neighbourhoods such as King West and Liberty Village.
