About 51 East Liberty StreetLiberty Central Phase I

Rising above a podium at 51 East Liberty St, Liberty Central Phase I is a 25 storey tower, with an aesthetically pleasing exterior comprised of cream coloured concrete, dark steel, and glass panels; with its curved wave-like frame, this property stands out even among so many modern condos in the area.

As part of the Liberty Village neighbourhood, this building has a youthful vibe that’s perfectly matched to its surroundings; these condos are an ideal spot for young professionals, couples, and small families — provided that the pace of the neighbourhood is a match for their lifestyle.

Love buildings that offer extensive amenities? Liberty Central Phase I provides residents with an array of desirable extras that are sure to keep them comfortable and entertained; fitness centre, pool, hot tub, party room, media room, meeting room, shared rooftop patio, concierge, security guard, and parking garage.

    The Suites

Liberty Central Phase I houses 385 suites, ranging in size from 405 square feet to 1489. Units are available in a variety of layouts and exposures for 1 bedroom, 1 bedroom + den, 2 bedroom, and 2 bedroom + den condos. Those with south facing units have views of Lake Ontario, and everyone else gets to enjoy the city skyline.

With a condo in this building, you get high end finishes like hardwood floors, stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, floor to ceiling windows, modern bathrooms, 9 floor ceilings, and private balconies.

For those who are interested, there are some incredibly swanky penthouses on higher floors; in addition to the features listed above, theses suites have gourmet kitchens with marble countertops, some have exposed concrete pillars, and corner suites have window walls.

Liberty Village is quite desirable, and as such, Liberty Village condos for sale can be expensive; first time home buyers might have a tough time getting their foot in the door in this building. But should you manage to get a unit here, you can count on property values rising for some time to come.

    The Neighbourhood

Go north to King, and you have dozens of great restaurants like Morgana Restaurant for Egyptian Cuisine, Oretta for Italian, Lee for Asian-fusion, Wilbur Mexicana for tacos, and much more.

Entertainment options are just as vast — walk five minutes to the south and you’ll find Exhibition Place, where you can check out fairs, events, concerts, and more. Sports fans can walk to BMO for TFC and the Argos — or it’s just a short streetcar ride to the Entertainment District for the Leaf’s, Jays, and Raptors.

51 East Liberty St is a 25-storey condo in Liberty Village that stands with its sister building, 49 East Liberty St. The two are part of a master-development by CanAlfa Group, and they share amenities and a big lobby. Most of those who live in Liberty Village are young professionals, and this is also true of this building. Other young professionals looking to purchase a condo in this building will be happy that they can fit right in. Things I like: - Low maintenance fees ($0.65/sqft as of September 2024) - Shared amenities between two condo corporations can help keep maintenance fees down - Organized concierge staff - Upcoming Ontario Line Station nearby Things to consider: - Train tracks nearby can be noisy at times - East-facing units look at another building, while West-facing units look directly onto the sister building @ 49 East Liberty. - Some layouts in the building are hit-and-miss layouts
