While neighbourhoods in <a href="https://strata.ca/toronto/downtown">downtown Toronto</a> tend to garner the most attention from condo buyers, Yonge and Eglinton has seen a condo boom in recent years, and the area has everything you could want from an urban location.58 Orchard View Blvd doesn&rsquo;t overwhelm residents with a staggering list of amenities, instead it provides thoughtful and convenient extras &mdash; fitness centre, yoga studio, party room, media room, shared rooftop deck, concierge, and parking garage.There&rsquo;s one other massive amenity, and although it&rsquo;s not technically offered by the building, the developers deserve some credit for location here &mdash; Yonge Eglinton Centre is literally next door, so shoppers have no need for a vehicle or public transit and the only limits will be how many bags they can carry.

If &lsquo;morning&rsquo; is a dirty word for you, you&rsquo;ll find plenty of great cafes nearby to help you clear the cobwebs; you have the trifecta of well known chains like Tim Hortons, Starbucks, and Second Cup within walking distance. Plus, lesser known cafes such as Istanbul Caf&eacute; &amp; Espresso Bar and Aroma Espresso Bar.For dining options close to home, it&rsquo;s all just a matter to taste &mdash; residents have fast food chains close-by like McDonald&rsquo;s, A&amp;W, and Popeyes. But no matter which unit you end up with, you enjoy the same high-end finishes found in units throughout the building.Condos at 58 Orchard View Blvd have desirable features like hardwood floors, stylish kitchens with mosaic backsplashes, granite countertops, and stainless steel appliances. All units are open concept, and have large private balconies.The price per square foot is somewhat high when compared against other buildings in the neighbourhood, and more in line with what you'd expect from <a href="https://strata.ca/toronto/downtown/condos-for-sale">downtown Toronto condos for sale</a>, but there are some reasonably priced studios and 1 bedroom suites which could be within reach for first time home buyers.

As a resident of this building, you can easily accomplish all of your errands in a decent pair of walking shoes. In fact, even grocery runs are easy because there&rsquo;s a Metro in Yonge Eglinton Centre.For a dose of nature, you won&rsquo;t need to travel far from Neon Condos &mdash; Eglinton Park is a sizeable green space that&rsquo;s just 5 minutes away; well-kept, and featuring a splash pad, sports facilities, a community centre, tree-shrouded benches, and an abundance of open green grass, this park offers a peaceful retreat within the city.Public transit users have convenience around every corner, beginning with bus stops 2 minutes away on Eglinton and Yonge Street. For trips downtown, Eglinton Station is less than a 5 minute walk from your front door for subway lines.With so much positivity, there had to be a letdown somewhere, and car owners will be the ones who feel the weight of it. To reach the nearest highway, drivers can go west on Eglinton Ave W for Allen Rd and the 401 &mdash; but you&rsquo;ll need some patience to get there.

Lived at Neon for 3 years, and it’s fantastic. Spacious layouts, beautiful condo, and the best location at Yonge and Eglinton. Everything I need is right here—5 stars.

Maintenance cost wayyyy to high compared to the amentities they have. Management is unresponsive and is very noisy because of its proximity to avenue road.

Really impressed by how quiet it is despite being in such a busy area. Concierge is friendly and the lobby always looks clean. Great spot if you don’t want the massive high-rise vibe.

Neon is super good for young professionals or downsizers, not really a party building. Rooftop terrace is a nice bonus - great views on a clear night.

Visited a few units here when condo hunting. Finishes looked fine but felt a bit dated compared to newer builds. The neighbourhood though... one of the best in midtown.

Nice condo, but units can feel a little tight depending on the layout. Elevators are sometimes slow during peak hours. Still, you're close to everything.. subway, restaurants, and groceries.
