If you require more shopping options, you can head north on Jane for North York Sheridan Mall.

    Nightlife is limited to a few cozy pubs, and while that might disappoint some, those who enjoy nature will always have something to do; Eglinton Flats is a large green space with soccer fields and acres of natural scenery. At Portage Gardens Park there are playgrounds and walking trails, and to the north you have Weston Lions Park which has sports fields and a swimming pool.

    Transportation

    Walkability is an area where these condos fumble the ball — 75 Emmett Ave has a 61 Walk Score, so residents will likely need a vehicle or public transit to accomplish all of their errands.

    Those who rely on public transit have a bus stop right outside of their building, and there are routes on Jane Street, Weston Road, and Eglinton Ave W. If you need to go further, Weston Station is just north of the neighbourhood for Go Transit.

    Drivers who commute have it easy — heading north on Jane Street will have you on the 400 in less than 15 minutes.

    Comparing a bunch of condos in the area and I keep coming back to how well built this place is. No paper-thin walls and the layout actually gives you room to live. Seems like a lowkey gem..

    This building may be older, but the units are huge and solidly built. I've owned here for over a decade and have no plans to leave. Management has been steady and the community has this friendly, neighbourly feel you just don’t find in newer builds.

    Honestly love the amount of space I get for the price. It’s not a flashy building, but it’s quiet, well maintained and close enough to parks and transit.

    There’s a lot to like, namely the big unit and decent views from the higher floors. That said, the elevators can be a bit slow and the lobby shows its age. Still a good option if you care more about space than style.
