    About 120 Bayview AvenueCanary Park

Located at 120 Bayview Avenue and 393 Front Street East, the Canary Park Condos emphasizes community, sustainability and contemporary style — all of which benefits residents here. Following the success of The Canary District Condos, a second development by Dundee Kilmer in the West Don Lands attracts even more prospective homeowners to this exciting area.

This condo was designed by Page + Steele / IBI Group Architects, beautifully embracing the natural bend of Bayview Avenue. The steeped buildings engage the eye, while the gleaming glass balconies stir the imagination – life here definitely looks luxurious.

Complementary by virtue of contrast, the contemporary aesthetic of the two mid-rise towers, along with their spectacular connecting podium, looks brilliant beside the natural landscape of the neighbouring Corktown Commons. While being next to such a splendid park is attractive, the array of amenities at 120 Bayview and 398 Front surely pleases residents here as well.

Bringing natural elements into the lobby’s design gives residents a warm and welcoming atmosphere – especially with 24-hour concierge service. Courtesy of Studio Munge, the interior design throughout the common areas is exceptional: the state-of-the-art fitness centre, yoga room, outdoor room, spa room, and two party rooms (each with an attached kitchenette) are all gorgeous, and overlook the park, the Don River and shimmering Lake Ontario.

    The Suites

At 120 Bayview Ave and 393 Front Street East, there are a total of 439 downtown Toronto condos, whose sizes span approximately 400 to 1,400 square feet. This includes studios, one, and two bedroom suites, the latter two of which come with options of a den as well. Alternatively, prospective homeowners may also be interested in the two bedroom townhouses at the Canary Park Condos.

Regardless of size, every one of the suites are spacious and modern thanks to 9 foot ceilings, quartz countertops, and engineered hardwood floors. What’s more, living spaces extend even further onto spacious balconies and terraces.

Nevertheless, enjoying life inside the Canary District Condos’ suites is easy and luxurious, and anyone who's looking for Toronto condos for sale would be wise to consider this property. There are stainless steel appliances in the kitchens, and many bathrooms feature, as per individual plans, deep soaker tubs.

    The Neighbourhood

These condos got their name from the historic Canary Restaurant. Though the restaurant has closed, this famous meeting spot for many artists and entrepreneurs has been preserved to give the neighbourhood a charming sense of history. Though what’s perhaps much more enticing for prospective residents is that the Corktown neighbourhood is vibrant like never before and poised for growth.

There are already many great shops, restaurant and cafes near 120 Bayview Avenue, but even more will come thanks to public investment in the area. Across the street from the Canary Park Condos, the Corktown Commons Park’s expansive fields contains everything, from a splash pad to a fireplace, so the neighbourhood’s residents have whatever they need to enjoy a summer’s day and night.

Finally, just up the street Underpass Park is one of the coolest public parks in the city – the art covering its basketball courts means they attract just as many photographers as they do players.

    Transportation

Originally residences for athletes in town for the Pan Am Games, one now can explore the city easily from the Canary Park Condos. Those who prefer public transit find that the 504 King and 514 Cherry streetcars are great options. Both are about a five-minute walk from here.

The 504 and 514 Streetcars carry riders through the downtown Core, passing many neighbourhoods like the Distillery District, St. Lawrence, and the Entertainment District on its route. Using these Streetcars, riders can transfer onto the subway at St. Andrew and King stations, meaning residents can use the TTC to reach further destinations around the city with ease.

Residents who drive are at a great advantage. With two highways so close by, getting onto either the Don Valley Parkway or the Gardiner Expressway takes only minutes.
