    The most appealing aspect of this neighbourhood is affordability — both for Toronto condos and detached homes in the area — as properties in this neighbourhood go for prices that are well below those in Toronto. Families will find several well-regarded schools in the area, so there’s no drawback when it comes to education. You won’t get all the convenience that comes with living downtown, but in exchange for sacrificing on trendy bars and streetcar lines, you’ll get more bang for bang for your buck.

    Don Mills functions well as standalone community; nightlife options aren’t likely to wow anybody who’s been spending time in the Entertainment District, but there are a number of restaurants that double as pubs here — Bier Markt, Jack Astor's, Glow Fresh Grill & Wine Bar, and more.

    When it comes to entertainment, Don Mills isn’t a one trick pony — there are movie theatres, a few art galleries, and an abundance of health and fitness clubs. For Shopping, there’s a sizeable collection of retail stores in the neighbourhood, including high-end brands like Coach, Banana Republic, and more. Plus, residents have plenty of choices for grocery runs and essential purchases.

    With over 2 dozen condo buildings in the neighbourhood, the condo scene here could best be described as robust; Don Mills condos can be found in large mid-rise complexes, modern and traditional high-rise towers, low-rise residences, and townhouse development. Making the area even more appealing, is the fact that there’s so much diversity in terms of style and price; this is where the neighbourhood really shows its versatility, because prices range from very affordable to luxurious and pricey.

    For budget minded buyers there are buildings like Concorde Park I Condos, which offers a decent list of extras and affordable units with generous floor plans. You’ll find more of the same at the 31-storey Highgate Condos, and the price per square foot is even lower — of course, as this building was completed in the 80s, there’s a possibility that some units will be dated.

    Don Mills condos are also well-suited to buyers with more financial freedom. Loft lovers will likely be drawn to units at Liv Lofts — these soft lofts feature minimalist design, and come with exposed concrete ceilings, track lighting, and open concept layouts.     Most Don Mills condos are located on The Donway and Lawrence, providing a great location for condo owners who enjoy having convenient options close to home — with TTC access just around the corner.     If you enjoy accomplishing your errands the greener way, then this is the neighbourhood for you; as a condo owner, you have no shortage of shopping options nearby, as well as financial institutions, salons, and wellness centres.

    Those who rely on public transit for their daily commute can find bus stops on Leslie, the Donway, and Don Mills Rd — and also several routes which service more residential areas. For longer trips, there are bus routes that connect to Lawrence Station for subway lines.

    Don Mills condos are ideal for car owners; drivers can easily navigate the area by heading east on Lawrence for the Don Valley Parkway, and can continue south for downtown Toronto or north for the 401.
