The land where Hillcrest Village neighbourhood now stands was settled by Robert John Turner in 1840 — Turner’s house was named Bracondale, and the village which formed around it became known as Bracondale Village. In 1937, the Turner family sold Bracondale House, and the residence was demolished to make way for Hillcrest Park.

Hillcrest Village is much more than your average suburban neighbourhood — on winding residential streets you’ll find a diverse selection of houses, many of which feature an old world look. The neighbourhood is hilly, and packed with mature trees, expansive green spaces, and natural beauty.

Hillcrest Village Condos are located on the northern and southern boundaries, near Steeles Ave E and Finch Ave E. Condo buyers have over a dozen buildings in the neighbourhood to choose from — in a mix of high-rises and townhouse complexes.

Hillcrest Village has a Walk Score of 68 — those living on residential streets might need a vehicle or public transit to run errands, but condo owners should have no trouble getting things done on foot.

Residents have great access to public transit, with bus stops on all major roads and several stops in residential areas. And while there isn’t a subway station in the neighbourhood, Don Mills Station is just south of the neighbourhood for subway service.

Not to be left out — drivers have highway 404 next door, making it easy to connect to the 401 and Don Valley Parkway.
