Buying a home in Lambton Baby Point

Nestled against the Humber River — just north of Bloor — Lambton Baby Point is an affluent neighbourhood in the York Crosstown area. Filled with winding residential streets and large 2-storey houses, this neighbourhood has an old world charm that doesn’t exist in many GTA neighbourhoods.

Single-family homes in this neighbourhood are likely out of reach for most first time home buyers, but Lambton Baby Point condos could be a great alternative; unfortunately, there are no buildings in the neighbourhood to date, and no future developments are planned at this time.

Residents have a small number of restaurants and pubs on Jane Street and Dundas — there’s a larger selection to the east on Annette. Entertainment tends to be recreation based; there are parks, playgrounds, athletic facilities, and the Humber River Recreational Trail.

Parents have excellent schools nearby for their children — which is why Lambton Baby Point condos would be great for families… if someone would build them. Jane Station and Old Mill are just south of the neighbourhood for subway service, and car owners can go south on S Kingsway for the Gardiner Expressway.

It’s only a matter of time until Lambton Baby Point condos exist, but until then, prospective buyers will need to seek Toronto condos for sale in neighbouring areas if they want to call community home.
