The Kings Court is located on the calmer, more laid back side of King Street. Rather than a place to see and be seen, King East is the spot for unwinding in an independent caf&eacute;, grabbing after-work drinks at a quirky dive bar, and shopping for some of the trendiest furniture in the city.Entertainment is also abundant in the area, with venues like Young People&rsquo;s Theatre, Canadian Stage, and the Alumnae Theatre Company just around the corner. For an evening that feels a little more laid back, the Imagine Cinemas Market Square is also within close reach.Luciano&rsquo;s No Frills is 150 metres from the front doors of the Kings Court Condos, making a trip to the grocery store both quick and inexpensive. Also in the same complex are an LCBO and a Dollarama, meaning residents really don&rsquo;t need to travel far to find what they need.Yet the pi&egrave;ce de r&eacute;sistance would have to be St. Lawrence Market. Named one of the best markets in the world by both CNN and National Geographic, this spot is literal foodie heaven. The homes at 230 King Street East are ideal for anyone in search of a bright, modern home in the heart of downtown Toronto. This is, in part, thanks to the units being drenched in warm, natural lighting. Although we won&rsquo;t blame residents who choose not to leave the area all that often, some find themselves in need of change every now and then, while others may commute out of the neighbourhood on a daily basis.Thankfully, the King&rsquo;s Court Condos are well situated for traveling throughout the city. Streetcars along King Street East provide quick and easy access to King Station on the Yonge subway line, from which trains move hurriedly north and south.Drivers can reach both the Gardiner Expressway and the Don Valley Parkway in no time, either of which allows them to zip around the city with ease.

I've owned my unit for over a decade and it's been a fantastic experience. The location is unbeatable; steps from St. Lawrence Market, the Distillery and public transit. The community here is friendly and diverse, really a great place to live.

Some pros and cons. The location is excellent and the building has a lot of character. However some aspects of the construction could be better. I've noticed issues with soundproofing and occasional maintenance delays. The management team is responsive sure, but there's room for improvement. Not without its flaws but still great!

Where I'm renting is spacious with large windows that let in plenty of light. The building is well maintained and the concierge staff are so helpful. I feel the walls are a bit thin because I can occasionally hear my neighbours. But despite that the convenience of the location and the quality of the amenities make it worthwhile.
