    Even with such a humble stature, 288-292 St. Clair West showcases a richness of detail. The stone and brick exterior exhibits ornate moldings that frame the building’s magnificent, massive windows. Facing St. Clair West, the edifice is raised above the ground slightly (done in order to make room for ample underground parking). As a result, front entrances feature stairs adorned with elegant black metal rails and balustrades, leading toward deep set mahogany doors framed by distinctly classical columns.

    The grandeur of the Churchill Collection in Forest Hill Condos culminates in a courtyard hidden behind the façade facing St. Clair West. This expansive common space contains an English Garden that’s ready to welcome residents home each and every day.

    A compromise residents make for living in such an exclusive building is that common amenities end with the garden. Rather than constructing a set of amenities that’s expensive to maintain, the developers and designers focused on ensuring the Toronto condos themselves more than satisfy every resident’s needs.

    The Suites

    Consisting of just 12 spacious townhouses, 288-292 St. Clair West’s living spaces are generous. Toronto condos for sale in this building are well suited for families, with only three-bedroom plus three-and-a-half-bathroom offerings, ranging in size from approximately 2,000 to 2,500 square feet and covering three storeys.

    Main floors feel particularly grand, courtesy their open concept layouts and 10-foot ceilings. The bedrooms, located on upper levels, are also quite comfortable, thanks to 9-foot high ceilings.     Matching the elegance of the exterior, Alex Chapman appointed the interiors with the finest fixtures and finishes. They boast hardwood floors and oak staircases, and windows feature timeless lattice frames and trim, which are well-coordinated with the 7¼ inch baseboards and moldings.

    Pleasing any home chef, the Churchill Collection in Forest Hill’s kitchens are gourmet. Meal prep is made easy with the ample stone countertops, stainless steel appliances including a gas range and Bosch dishwasher, and seamlessly integrated massive French door refrigerators.

    Finally, while every one of the bathrooms at 288-292 St. Clair West are excellent, the master ensuites are exceptional. These feature an oversized shower as well as a freestanding tub — perfect for when residents really want some sumptuous relaxation.

    The Neighbourhood

    Those living at 288-292 St. Clair West can easily enjoy an active outdoor lifestyle. They reside, after all, right across from the vast grassy fields of Sir Winston Churchill Park, which connects to the Nordheimer and Cedarvale Ravines.

    Additionally, upscale shopping sits right down the street from the Churchill Collection in Forest Hill. Around Yonge Street and St. Clair West there are many major brands to be found, complemented by some eclectic eateries and popular restaurant franchises.

    Although there is a Loblaws at the northeast corner of Yonge and St. Clair West, when residents do their groceries, they can also head to another, closer Loblaws. The nearest one is located on St. Clair, just about a five-minute walk west from the condos.

    Transportation

    This nearby Loblaws may also be quite popular with Churchill Collection in Forest Hill’s residents for another reason: it is situated above the closest TTC Station, St. Clair West. On the Yonge-University-Spadina subway line, trains from St. Clair West take riders downtown and uptown in no time, with a connection onto either the Sheppard or Bloor-Danforth lines just a few stops north and south, respectively.

    Although with all the private parking offered to residents of this property, many drivers might live in the building as well. These travelers can enjoy the fast pace of the traffic in their area. As a result, they can quickly access the highway whenever necessary. Drivers can find an on-ramp to the Don Valley Parkway at Bayview Avenue, often taking around fifteen minutes to reach, or they can follow Bathurst Street north to access the 401.
