This is precisely what happened with the Casa Condos: they became so popular that developers had no choice but two build two more. While <a href="https://strata.ca/toronto/42-charles-st-e-casa-ii-condos">Casa II Condos</a> and <a href="https://strata.ca/toronto/50-charles-st-e-casa-iii-condos">Casa III Condos</a> are now also available to satiate prospective buyers, Casa Condos at 33 Charles Street East is the one that started it all.Cresford Developments and Architects Alliance are the firms behind the condo's creation in 2010. A sleek, polished metal and glass tower juts from a slightly wider base below, with the entire building reaching to a staggering 46 storeys.Wraparound balconies can be seen from street level, but views are best appreciated from above. However, as one of the taller buildings in the area, residents needn&rsquo;t live amongst the uppermost stories to enjoy the vistas. Implied more by the name than the actual style, perhaps, the building was made to resemble modern Italian architecture.What is clear, though, is the stunning lineup of amenities available to those living at 33 Charles Street East. Residents can get some exercise in the building&rsquo;s gym, take a swim in the outdoor pool, or relax indoors in the billiards and theatre rooms. Built in 2010 and the first phase (of 3) of the Casa condos on Charles St. Very accessible area, and maintenance fees are reasonable. The Casa buildings tend to attract a lot of student tenants, so investors can expect good rental demand with decent tenancy periods.

Great space and solid construction. It’s not just a pretty lobby - the suites are well thought out. That said, the area can get congested at rush hour but overall I’m happy here.

The concierge is friendly and the views from my balcony are incredible. My unit gets tons of natural light. Casa lives up to the hype, especially if you value style and location.

Solid experience so far. I’m renting a one bedroom and while the unit is a bit smaller than I banked on, it’s modern and has a great view. Elevators can get a little backed up during peak times, but nothing major.

Bought a unit a few years ago and haven’t had trouble finding qualified tenants. Well managed, prime location and great for long-term investment value.

Checked out a listing here and was impressed. The building feels upscale and it’s right in the middle of everything. I’m hoping to move in soon!

Super convenient if you’re going to UOT or TMU Everything’s walkable. Only complaint is that the party noise can travel on weekends, but that’s probably more about the crowd than the building itself.
