About 48 St Clair Avenue WPark Avenue Residences

This is one of those rare chances to own a piece of Toronto history. Originally the Duplate Canada Building, today 48 St. Clair Ave. W is a luxury condo building called the Park Avenue Residences. It features a variety of spacious units that have made it one of the most coveted addresses in town.

The Park Avenue Residences are right in the heart of Yonge and St. Clair neighbourhood in midtown Toronto. This is one of the most developed sections of the city, complete with employment opportunities, dining options, and public transit. There’s also a densely wooded park in the region where you can walk through the trees and forget that you’re in the middle of Canada’s largest urban centre.

    The Suites

Originally built in the 1950’s, this building was completely refurbished and converted into Toronto condos for sale in 2005. It stands at 13 storeys, and it holds 51 suites that come in all sorts of different floor plans that range from 556 square foot one-bedroom condos to 2,564 square foot penthouse suites.

As soon as you lay eyes on 48 St. Clair West, you can tell that no detail has been overlooked. The building’s exterior exudes luxury with its perfectly landscaped yards that includes trees, flower beds, and the canopy that was added along with the building’s renovation.

Inhabitants of the Park Avenue Residences will enjoy having convenient amenities in their building, including an exercise room, party room, and concierge service.

    The Neighbourhood

48 St. Clair Ave W is located at Yonge and St. Clair, in and an area often referred to as Deer Park, which is a vibrant and diverse region. There are towering office buildings centrally located on the Yonge and St. Clair intersection, so this could be a great choice for those who are looking to live close to work.

There are tons of dining options around this intersection too. It’s a burger lover’s dream, with McDonalds, Holy Chuck and Hero Certified Burgers all located here. If you’re looking for something else, Nove Trattoria is a charming family-owned Italian restaurant that serves house made pasta — it’s definitely a neighbourhood staple.

Despite being one of the more urban centres in the GTA, the David A. Balfour Park has a trail that cuts through a veritable forest in the middle of the city. You’ll think you’ve slipped into a different time period as you walk through the woods.

    Transportation

Most of the locals who live around Park Avenue Residences depend on St. Clair Station for getting around the city. It’s part of Line 1 Yonge-University, and it’s three stops away from Bloor-Yonge station where riders can transfer onto Line 2.

If you’re looking to travel across St. Clair Avenue, look no further than the 512 streetcar, which starts at St. Clair Station and goes all the way down the St. Clair corridor. This makes it easy for residents to travel throughout midtown.

If you’re looking to drive to the different parts of the GTA from 48 St. Clair West, you’re in luck! The Ontario 401 and Don Valley Parkway are incredibly accessible, so you’ll have no problems getting across the city.
