About 55 Delisle Avenue — The Carlyle
Couples, families, singles, and everyone in between searching for an upscale home in midtown Toronto can find everything they’re looking for at The Carlyle Condos. Located at 55 Delisle Avenue, this luxury condo building is rather new to the city.
Built in 2006, the Carlyle Condos can be found on a quiet side-street, just around the corner from the bustling intersection of Yonge and St Clair. The midtown location provides residents the chance to live in a tranquil residential neighborhood, while still being close to the action of a major urban center.
The Carlyle has a modern façade of red brick, white stone and glass, and is surrounded by landscaped gardens. A partially covered stone driveway leads to the lobby, which is beautifully designed with coffered ceilings and bright marble floors.
As well as offering residents a posh, contemporary home in the heart of the city, the building features a number of amenities that make 55 Delisle a comfortable place in which to settle down. These extras include a full gym, concierge and security services, an event room with a kitchen, parking for residents and guests, guest suites, and an outdoor patio.
The Suites
The Carlyle is broken up into 64 Toronto condos, which are spread out over 12 storeys. The suites range in size from 630 square feet to over 3,000. Varied floor plans give residents choices between 1 or 2 bedroom suites, with options for 1 or 2 bathrooms, and the addition of a den. Many homes in the building also feature balconies and large, floor-to-ceiling windows that offer panoramic views. A select number of suites boast terraces, which can be found along the building’s stepped upper floors.
Suites have 9-foot ceilings, crown moulding, and bright, open interiors thanks to their abundance of large windows. Kitchens in these units are chef-inspired, with modern, stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and tasteful wooden cabinetry.
The bathrooms are equally as beautiful in suites, with these spaces finished with marble floors and counters. Certain suites in the building also boast walk-in closets and hardwood floors, with options for carpeted bedrooms and ensuite bathrooms as well. Toronto condos for sale in this building are among the priciest in the neighbourhood, so buyers will want to be sure that they're prepared for high price tags.
