About 93-95 The Queensway — Windermere By The Lake Terrace
Windermere by The Lake Terrace is one of those condos that provides residents with the best of both worlds. The 104 Toronto townhouses found at 9 Windermere Avenue & 93 the Queensway offers privacy and all the comforts of a house, plus perks like professional property management and amenities.
Built in 2006 by Cresford Developments & Reon Developments, the façade at 9 Windermere Avenue & 93 the Queensway is traditional and understated, with its classic combination of stone and red brick. And while residents living in townhouses don’t always have access to a long list of amenities, that’s where Windermere by the Lake Terrace stands out. These townhomes are part of a larger complex that includes large glass towers and an impressive set of extras.
Residents can relax in the building’s swimming pool, entertain in the party room, or host a cookout using the communal barbecues. Those in search of some entertainment can head over to the billiards room, or they can play a round or two (or more) of virtual golf. On top of all that, the condo also boasts a gym and sauna, as well as a 24-hour concierge and visitor parking.
The Suites
The townhomes at Windermere by the Lake Terrace are great for prospective residents who don’t care for communal lobbies and concierges. Plus, the suites range in size considerably, allowing single individuals, couples, and families alike to find something that suits their needs. Units in the complex start at around 300 square feet, and reach to approximately 1,450 at their largest.
At 9 Windermere Avenue & 93 the Queensway, townhomes come in many varieties, including studios, 1 bedroom, 1 bedroom plus den, 2 bedroom, 2 bedroom plus den, and 3 bedroom units. Prospective residents can also expect to find pre-engineered hardwood flooring and open concept kitchens.

The Neighbourhood
Outdoorsy types will find no better location than the south end of the High Park & Swansea neighbourhood. From 9 Windermere Avenue & 93 the Queensway, residents are just a few blocks away from both Lake Ontario and High Park. While Sunnyside Beach is a great spot for summer sunbathing, the Martin Goodman Trail serves a more functional purpose. This 56-kilometre cycling and pedestrian trail is ideal for both cyclists commuting to work and pedestrians who just enjoy a good stroll along the waterfront.
Along Lake Shore Boulevard and the Queensway, just west of the Humber River, residents can find just about everything they can possibly need — including Costco and IKEA. The closest grocery stores to 9 Windermere Avenue & 93 the Queensway are Nicholson’s No Frills on Bloor Street West and Sobeys on the Queensway, both of which are just a short drive or bus ride away.
Speaking of Bloor West, a quick bus ride or drive, or a 30-minute walk, will land residents in the Bloor West Village. Known for hosting the largest Ukrainian festival in the world, this idyllic stretch of Bloor is also home to charming independent businesses, from fashion boutiques to eateries.
Transportation
With major arterial roads like the Queensway and Lake Shore Boulevard so close at hand, residents who travel by both car and TTC can get around the city with ease. The 80 Queensway bus, for example, stops right at the corner of the Queensway and Windermere, and carries passengers as far as Keele Station on the Bloor-Danforth subway line. Then there’s the 508 Lake Shore streetcar, which heads east along King before stopping at St. Andrew and King Stations on the Yonge-University-Spadina line.
As for drivers, while the Queensway and Lake Shore Boulevard are great options for getting around the immediate area, the Gardiner Expressway is an even better route when heading out on lengthier journeys. The Gardiner allows drivers to zip east toward the city centre, or even to transfer onto the Don Valley Parkway; drivers heading west, on the other hand, can use the Gardiner to reach the 427 in no time.
Last but not least, residents who plan to do a lot of travelling will love the fact that it takes just over 15 minutes to reach Pearson International Airport. Billy Bishop, on the other hand, can be reached in around 10 minutes by car and just over 20 minutes via public transit.
