    About 38 Niagara StreetZed Lofts

The mission of Zed Lofts’ creators is about more than just individual buildings: Shaping Beautiful CitiesTM is what TAS Design Build is really after. Naturally, the lofts at 38 Niagara Street are no exception, and other buildings in the King West area are lucky to call Zed Lofts its neighbour.

TAS built Zed Lofts to be in harmony with its neighbourhood, and as a result architecture at 38 Niagara is considered a significant achievement in the realm of downtown Toronto residential structures since its completion in 2006.

With just over 100 Toronto lofts, this soft loft residence is home to a community who appreciate the sophisticated use of glass, steel, and concrete for the exterior of their mutual quarters. Beyond the cool contemporary style, another perk is the rooftop space, where owners are welcome to enjoy the use of a shared barbecue while taking in sweeping views of Lake Ontario and the city above it.

    The Suites

The lofts at 38 Niagara Street are contemporary yet raw. Clean lines, open concept living areas, hardwood floors, and modern appliances are paired with concrete ceilings and floor to ceiling windows. Most units are also outfitted with generously sized balconies, and due to Victoria Memorial Park next door, those facing east are afforded a brilliantly clear view.

King West condos for sale at Zed Lofts come in all shapes and sizes, so whether a bachelor is all you’re after, or if you can make use of two bedrooms plus a den, there's surely something for everyone. Lofts range from 400 square feet at their smallest to a vast 2,000 square feet for the larger units. A few of the largest penthouse suites are even spread out over three storeys, so those wanting to work from home can be accommodated as well. If space is a concern for buyers who often play host, not to worry — the building comes equipped with guest suites and a party room.

    The Neighbourhood

Since Zed Lofts welcomes residents from all walks of life, it is important that the neighbourhood can accommodate an eclectic bunch all the same. Thankfully, between the entertainment district’s lively bars, King Street West’s tantalizing food, Queen West’s art galleries and well-curated shops, and Harbourfront’s urban parks and activities on the lake, the area definitely delivers.

In terms of more practical amenities, the Kitchen Table positions groceries a mere five minute walk away, while other options in the area include Fresh and Wild Food Market at King and Spadina or a rather extensive Loblaws at Bathurst and Queen.

Also in the area are some great options for entertainment, including the Scotiabank Theatre and TIFF Bell Lightbox for movies, The Princess of Wales and Royal Alexandra theatres for plays, and the Rogers Centre for sporting games and popular concerts.

Residents hosting out of town guests won’t have to travel far to show them popular Toronto sites such as the CN Tower, the ROM, the AGO, or the Toronto Islands.

    Transportation

Located just seconds from Bathurst Street, the streetcars here will take residents north to Kensington Market, the Annex, the Bloor subway line, and beyond. A brisk walk up to King Street means access to the east-west King streetcars to Liberty Village, St. Lawrence Market, or the University-Spadina line of the subway.

Driving from 38 Niagara is a breeze, as the Gardiner Expressway loops around the southern end of the city, connecting with the 427 to the West or the Don Valley Parkway to the East.

Treks to the airport will also become less of a chore, with Billy Bishop Airport less than 10 minutes away by public transit. Pearson International Airport can also be reached in under an hour by way of the UP terminal at nearby Union Station.
