About 1001 Cedarglen Gate — Lansdowne Condos
Built back in 1992 and reaching to just 7 storeys, the Lansdowne Condos is wider than it is tall — something you don’t find all too often these days, and especially not in Mississauga’s downtown core. With Erindale allowing for more space to spread out, though, the developers behind 1001 Cedarglen Gate were able to create a sizeable condominium without having to build up. There’s also plenty of room for amenities at 1001 Cedarglen: residents have access to a gym, indoor pool, sauna, visitor parking, and 24/7 security.
The Suites
The homes at the Lansdowne Condos range in size from around 700 to approximately 1,100 square feet and contain one bedroom, one bedroom plus a den, two bedrooms, or two bedrooms plus a den. While the building is suitable for families, the lack of colossal suites means it’s probably most fitting for parents with just one or two children.
Layouts vary at 1001 Cedarglen, with some units even boasting solariums. Pass-through kitchens are common throughout the building, offering privacy for home chefs while still being able to watch over kids or guests in the living room.
The Neighbourhood
Residents living in Erindale get to enjoy the best of both worlds: not only are there swathes of green spaces right around the corner from 1001 Cedarglen, but plenty of commercial offerings are situated along Dundas Street West as well.
When the time comes to stock up on groceries, residents can choose between the Freshco at Dundas and Glengarry and the Real Canadian Superstore at Mavis Road. On sunny days residents can spend time at Huron Park, which boasts a skate park, a splash pad, and a lawn tennis club. Lake Ontario isn’t far off either, with plenty of waterfront green spaces to choose from including Jack Darling Memorial Park and JC Scaddington Park.
Transportation
Travelling around Mississauga and into neighbouring cities is easy for residents of the Lansdowne Condos. It takes all of 30 minutes to reach downtown Mississauga by bus, for example, while residents can reach Toronto’s Union Station in just over an hour via the GO train from Port Credit Station.
As for drivers living in the building, the 401, the 403, and the QEW are all within close reach. This network of highways running through Mississauga means the city centre takes just 10 minutes to reach, while Pearson International Airport is just a 20-minute drive away.
