    With its tall and thin, glass-clad architecture, 208 Enfield Place is reminiscent of the typical downtown Toronto condo. Ironically, the name given to this building is the Wide Suites Condos, which comments on the individual suite layouts rather than the shape of the building itself.

    Constructed in 2011 by the Conservatory Group, 208 Enfield contains 278 homes spread out over 37 storeys. While the façade may be modern, the building’s lobby feels warm and welcoming thanks to more traditional finishes like granite and hardwood.

    Residents living at the Wide Suites Condos have access to a handful of amenities, including an indoor pool, a party room, and guest suites. And to top it all off, the building boasts a 24-hour concierge and visitor parking.

    The Suites

    As the name suggests, 208 Enfield contains homes with particularly wide layouts, making laying out furniture in these homes a breeze. Suites range in size from around 600 to 1,550 square feet and contain one to three bedrooms, plus some also boast dens. Perhaps best of all, however, are the wall-to-wall windows that allow natural sunlight to pour into the homes at the Wide Suite Condos.

    The Neighbourhood

    Technically located in the Fairview neighbourhood, 208 Enfield sits near to the border of Missisagua’s downtown core. For this reason, residents get to enjoy the best of both worlds: they live equidistant from schools and restaurants, as well as parks and shops.

    When the weather is nice (for once) and residents feel like spending the day outside, they can walk down the street to Kariya Park, a garden inspired by Mississauga’s Japanese sister city. Rainy days, on the other hand, can easily be spent in Square One Shopping Centre, which happens to boast a pretty impressive food court in addition to its retail stores.

    Transportation

    Living so close to the city centre also has its perks when it comes to transportation. Even residents without cars can get around with ease, thanks to the City Centre Transit Terminal next to Square One Shopping Centre. Here, travellers can catch GO, Zum, and MiWay buses that will carry them to their destinations. Drivers, on the other hand, can quickly hop onto major highways like the 403, the 401, and the QEW via Hurontario Street.
