    The stacked condo townhouse complex known as the Long Valley Townhomes - Phases I & II is about as charming as it gets, thanks to multi-toned brick and paneled siding. The phase 1 with 111 units was constructed in 2012 and the phase 2 with 141 units was finished in 2013 by Daniels Corporation, none of the buildings in the complex reaches higher than 4 storeys.

    While there are no indoor amenities in sight, residents can make use of outdoor common spaces like landscaped courtyards and a kids’ playground. And with just 252 units in total, living at 5610, 5630 and 5650 Winston Churchill Boulevard, 3055-3075 Thomas Street, and 5705 Long Valley Road feels like being part of an intimate, close-knit community.

    The Suites

    Though the smallest suites are 500-square-foot studios, condo seekers who need more space than that will be glad to hear that the largest contain three bedrooms plus a den and span 1,500 square feet. As is customary with townhomes, some of the suites at 5610-5650 Winston Churchill, 3055-3075 Thomas St and 5705 Long Valley cover two floors. Also commonplace throughout the complex are large, eat-in kitchens and impressive terraces.

    The Neighbourhood

    In the westernmost pocket of Mississauga sits the Churchill Meadows neighbourhood, one of the city’s newest developments: Churchill Meadows was initially planned in 1981, with construction only beginning in 1997. As a result, the neighbourhood feels decidedly modern and has attracted a large number of young families.

    As residential as the area may be, commercial conveniences are never far from 5650 Winston Churchill and 5705 Long Valley. Residents, for example, can walk for just a few minutes in order to reach a Starbucks, a Scotiabank, and a Rexall pharmacy. As for grocery stores, there’s a Sobeys and a Longo’s about equidistant from these homes, to the west and the east, respectively.

    Transportation

    Getting around is easy with an address like 5610-5650 Winston Churchill Blvd, 3055-3075 Thomas St and 5705 Long Valley Rd. Drivers living in the complex benefit from having the 401, the 407, and the 403 all so close at hand, while those without cars of their own have a MiWay bus stop right outside the building.

    Prospective residents who plan to visit Toronto every now and then can rest assured knowing Union Station takes just over an hour to reach via public transit. The drive takes around the same amount of time, so residents can leave the car at home and save money on parking once they get into the city.
