6 Humberline Dr, Toronto
About this condo
Condo Overview
The King’s Terrace Condos is one of those rare buildings — nowadays, anyways — that’s wider than it is tall. The tiered, yellow brick structure was built back in 1992, and contains 214 Toronto condos spread out over 11 storeys.
Condo seekers search of a building that’s all-inclusive have come to the right place. Besides the typical concierge and underground parking, residents living at 6 Humberline Drive also have access to a gym, indoor pool, hot tub, and sauna.
The Suites
The homes at 6 Humberline Dr vary dramatically in size, starting at around 600 and reaching to approximately 1,700 square feet. Units contain one, two, or three bedrooms, some of which also boast dens.
Practically unheard in most Toronto condos for sale, the King’s Terrace Condos features large, eat-in kitchens. The rest of the rooms in these homes are also spacious and airy, thanks to bright, wall-to-wall windows. Hardwood flooring is common in many of the homes at 6 Humberline Dr, as are private balconies — some of which are quite sizeable.
The Neighbourhood
The Rexdale, West Humber, & Clairville neighbourhood is enormous, to say the least, encompassing a large portion of Etobicoke. The area stretches from the 401 up to Steeles, and from the 427 all the way to Islington Avenue.
Residents of 6 Humberville Dr benefit from living so close to Humber College, in more ways than one. First, the Humber Arboretum is right around the corner. This 250-acre public garden and conservation area was created back in 1972 by Humber College students, and continues to be a joint venture between the school, Toronto and Region Conservation, the City of Metropolitan Toronto, and the City of Etobicoke. Second, where there are students, there must be food. Residents can find plenty of fast-casual options along Finch and Woodbine Downs Boulevard, just outside the college campus.
The Woodbine Racetrack is a crowd favourite when it comes to entertainment in Rexdale, West Humber, and Clairville. However, residents of 6 Humberline Dr with children are more likely to be found at Woodbine Mall on a Saturday afternoon. Naturally this indoor shopping centre contains an abundance of retail stores, but it also happens to be home to an indoor amusement park known as Fantasy Fair.
Transportation
King's Terrace residents may not fly as often as they drive, however it certainly comes in handy living so close to Pearson International Airport. The drive to this major airport takes all of about 10 minutes, which also amounts to a fairly inexpensive Uber ride.
As for those concerned about their daily commutes, residents who drive can use the 427 in order to reach both the 401 and the Gardiner Expressway in no time. Residents whose destinations are in the north end of town, on the other hand, can make use of the 407, a fast-paced tolled highway that spans the entire width of the city.
Last but not least, residents who rely on public transit to get around can use the 336 Finch bus to reach Finch and Finch West stations on the Yonge and University-Spadina lines, respectively. Another great option is the 927 Highway 27 Express bus, which carries passengers down to Kipling Station on the Bloor-Danforth subway line in around 20 minutes.
