About 225 Webb Drive — Solstice Condos
Those who can’t — or don’t want to — decide between tranquillity and convenience can look no further than the Solstice Condos at 255 Webb Drive. Built back in 2008 by Davies Smith Developments and designed by Quadrangle Architects, the tower rises to 38 storeys and contains a grand total of 375 homes.
When we mentioned convenience, we weren’t just talking about the shops and attractions that surround the building. 255 Webb is also equipped with amenities of its own, including a gym, indoor pool, indoor and outdoor hot tubs, a squash court, a party room, a theatre, and barbecues.
The building’s lobby is also an amenity in and of itself, with its fireplace, water feature, and abundance of seating. To top it all off, the Solstice Condos boasts a concierge, visitor parking, and guest suites.
The Suites
With one bedroom, one bedroom plus den, two bedroom, and two bedroom plus den homes spread throughout the building, prospective residents interested in 255 Webb have plenty of choice. Suites range from around 500 to 1,500 square feet, and regardless of size every unit is well lit thanks to floor-to-ceiling, wall-to-wall windows.
Open concept kitchens with stainless steel appliances are the norm in the building, and while kitchens tend to be on the smaller side, generously sized living rooms are a suitable compromise for many residents.
The Neighbourhood
While residents enter and exit the Solstice Condos on a quiet residential street, all one needs to do is to cross Burmanthorpe Road in order to reach countless restaurants, entertainment venues, and shops. Particularly close by are the Central Library, the Mississauga YMCA, the Art Gallery of Mississauga, and the Living Arts Centre.
When residents need to stock their pantries, they can choose between specialty stores like Whole Foods and T&T Supermarket. There’s also a Metro a short drive away from 255 Webb, on Central Parkway East.
Transportation
Whether residents prefer to drive or ride public transit, it’s easy to get around Mississauga with an address like 255 Webb. Drivers can reach the 403 in a matter of minutes by heading along Hurontario Street, and from there the 401 is just a short ride away. Those without access to cars, on the other hand, can begin their journeys at the Square One Bus Terminal or the Cooksville GO Station.
